I have had a busy weekend. On Saturday morning I went to the mini-Argus bicycle race held by the local pre-primary school. All the children were cycling around the cricket oval. I can’t ride a bike yet, but I went with my friends Matthew and Michael. They were on their bikes and I raced alongside them in my pram. It was exciting as Matthew learned how to ride his bike without fairy wheels (stabilisers) this weekend. He really can fly now and will be able to teach me when I am bigger. Afterwards we had a picnic breakfast on the oval. Uncle Guy brought custard and chocolate especially for me.
Feeding wise I am still going strong. I love my food and shout out for things a lot more now. My speech therapist is very happy with the progress as eating is improving my tongue movements and this is helping my vocal abilities. I can be quiet talkative and I am getting closer to making my first words.
On the weight front I got as high as 7.640kg this week, but lost a little over the course of the week. Nothing to worry about as my weight seems to be stable and gradually going in the right direction. In fact I have now grown out of my car seat and have moved up to a bigger one that faces forward. I love it as I can see lots more now.
